camping.leech.

had a 3days camping last weekend. i went back to the hostel smelling like a drain! *bak kata2 melayu, bau cam longkang!*

we were divided into 4 groups n were asked to create team's name, our trademarks n drew our own flag on Thursday. since our commander named Jimmy and Intan, we combined their name n borned with JimTan. (literally means A genie with Diamond in the hand) there's nothing much happened on thursday as we only stayed inside the campus area. n it's not a real camping yet as we could still go back to our dorm to sleep. the real challenge came on the nextt day. =D

we had a tai-chi first thing on friday morning. (taichi la sgt~~ HAHA) We also played a few games just to test on our cooperation among the members. MAKE THE LONGEST LINE FROM 20 MEMBERS OF YOUR GROUP. we took off our caps, shoes, shoe laces n socks & arranged all those things in a line n lay on the ground n stretched our leg as long as possible! n guess what? Our JimTan wonnnnnnn! ^_^

We headed to our base camp at 3pm. It took us more than 30 minutes to reach there. We walked,fyi. Climbing the steep mountain was so damn tirin! n i had to bring a pack of eggs some more! to make it worse, it was raining at the moment.lightly. Putting up the tents and finding big strong wood in the 'jungle' were some of my new experiences. so many things happened during the day n i;m so tired to write about it.

That night was quite 'walawah'~! The generator suddenly died n all the lamps went out! the whole base camp were out of light! we dun have a single light n we're in the middle of jungle! i could only heard the sound of crickets (n some of them sounded sooooo scary) we had to cancel our performance on that nite. instead, we enjoyed eating satay in the middle of the wood~! wakaka^^

the next day before going back, we had a nice&challenging jungle trekking. 10 most fit persons in each group were chosen to go for the explorace &imoneofthem. :) We had 3 checkpoints whereby in the 1st CP,we had to cook instant noodle (lighted up ur own fire,find ur own woods, boiled ur own water,eat it before 25minuted ended), 2nd CP was constructing (find a strong chopped wood, tied up the wood n built a chair. a member was asked to sit on it for 1min n u're passed!) the 3rd one was finding a treasure using compass (our group did it in 5 minutes while others spent more than 10minutes each. :D ). the last one was a task before going back to the base camp. We had to cross a confluent n dived in it to grab a handful of died leaves at the bottom of the water. i feel nothing at all until we finally arrived our 'home'. Feeling uncomfortable, I went to check my ownself in the toilet...n gahhh. I found a leech on my feet! a big one that was happily sucking my blood! another one was on my neck which made me feel like taking off the clothes right away. but i couldn't. Guys are everywhere dowhh~ haha^^

anyway, we WON the explorace anyway. huhu^^
